Returns and Exchanges

If you feel that you have valid reason for wanting your product exchanged, kindly contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item. We ask that you provide photo proof of the defective issue for our inspection. In the case where we do agree on an exchange, the buyer needs to ship the item back to The Siam Bindery within 7 days of receiving the item. We do not provide refunds on personalized/customized items.

The product must be shipped back with a tracking number to ensure that it reaches us. We are unable to process returns, exchanges or refunds if a package fails to reach us. Furthermore, all additional shipping costs (return of old product plus shipping costs for the exchanged product) will be for the buyer. Returns and exchanges cannot be proceeded until we have received the original product in good condition.

1.1. Return of physical and digital combination items

If you would like to return your toolkit, the price of the e-tutorial (digital item) will be deducted from the total product value.

1.2. Damage

In the case where an item is not returned in its original condition, or in the case certain components are damaged or missing, the value of said components will be deducted from the product’s value.

2. Cancellations

We accept cancellations on any order within 1 hour after the order has been placed. Once work on a custom order has started, no cancellations/refunds will be granted. Additionally, once a digital product has been downloaded, no cancellations will be granted.

2.1. Restocking fee

To account for conversion fees and bank charges that are charged on all incoming orders, a 5% restocking fee applies to all orders when cancelled/refunded.

3. Digital products

All downloadable products are strictly non-refundable.

4. Customized/Personalized products

Key to our business is the creation of customized, one-of-a-kind products for you. Due to the custom nature of our products, we are unable to refund your order.

5. Free Shipping Promotion

When you purchase an item with a free shipping promotion and wish to have it returned/exchanged, the value of shipping, including the cost of packaging and all associated processing fees, will be deducted from the original price of the product.

If there is an issue to your order caused by us, you may opt for a product replacement, credit on a future order or a refund (exclusive of shipping charges). To ensure an easy return process, contact us at the details provided in your order notification with your order number and proof of defect.
